What this site collects, and why.

The contact page asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, a subject, and a description so I can read your enquiry and reply.

When the page offers an email draft, your details stay in your browser until you press Send in your own email app. When direct form delivery is available, the site sends the enquiry through Microsoft 365 to my mailbox. The site does not keep a separate database copy. I retain messages in my mailbox while handling the enquiry and as needed for records of the work discussed.

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers, names, and notes you enter are never transmitted to a server. They are saved to your browser’s local storage so your work survives a refresh, and can be cleared at any time with the reset control on each tool, or by clearing site data in your browser.

Because nothing is uploaded, I cannot see what you enter into a calculator — and nothing you type there is recoverable once you clear it.

I do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.

I do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and runs no third-party analytics or advertising scripts.

The site runs on a hosting provider. If direct form delivery is enabled, Microsoft 365 handles the enquiry in my mailbox. If you send from your own email app, your email provider handles the message too. These services may keep standard logs for security and reliability.

You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask me to delete it. Email sean@seanfinlay.ca and I will confirm once it is done.
